A pharmaceutical company has been fined $1.3 million for trading on counterfeit versions of Viagra in the UK, after it sold more than 30,000 pills to overseas customers.
The company, based in Bristol, had a period of six months before it was ordered to pay around £2.5m.
But the drug, which is sold in 50 different countries and sells for as much as a quarter a tablet at a time, was made to be sold as a treatment for erectile dysfunction by the company.
